Presenting: Friday Party themes!

For those of you who don't know, it's a Herräng tradition to end every camp week with a big theme party. Here's how it works:

The tradition of dressing up for Friday nights according to a theme has been going on since way waaay back. We've seen quite a few swing dance legends in some crazy costumes over the years. :) Everyone is encouraged to interpret the themes in their own creative way. And we could never get tired of seeing swing dancers' collective genius simultaneously explode in imagination and fun.

‍Get crafty (seriously)

Don’t hesitate to actually make your own costume. No need for a Hollywood budget - use what you’ve already got, plus a little imagination. Pick up a cardboard box, raid your (friends) closet, add a little paint? The most "Herräng" costumes are usually the ones held together by creativity and duct tape.

No one is forced to dress up, and if a costume isn’t your vibe, we fully trust everyone to join the party as they are. However, we truly believe that dressing up adds yet another layer of magic to the already dreamy, surreal Herräng Friday spirit.
