The Lindy Hop Shop was already established in the early 1990s, at the time offering a most limited assortment of goods. The shop business in Herräng of today has very few similarities with the early days, and has developed into a kind of small retro store focusing on music, dance, clothes and shoes. Some of the products sold in the shop are produced by us, while many of them are also sold on commission. Accordingly: if you are interested to bring things to sell in the shop and if space is available, please feel welcome to do so, but please keep in mind that we prioritise products in the line of jazz, swing and general retro. Our commission fee is 30%. If you are planning on bringing a large quantity of things, please contact us in advance at lhs@herrang.com.
For many years, Herräng Dance Camp produced a camp film each year (on VHS and later on DVD), starting in 1989 and all the way up until 2017. These productions present many different aspects of the event including instructions, performances, competitions, social life et cetera. With the exception of the first two years, the films were put together by our talented late cameraman, Jan Forsell. The productions are however still available. If interested, please contact our office for further information.
