Jazz singer and teacher Mimi Terris has a master degree in singing and pedagogics from the Royal Danish Music conservatory. Leading her own orchestra and writing her own music she released her second album "Flytta hemifrån" in 2015. Her first album "They say it's spring" was a collaboration together with Gordon Webster and Cassidy Holden (New York). In recent years Mimi's songs have been played a lot at Swedish and Danish radio and she has performed at jazz events such as Copenhagen Jazz Festival and Fashing, Stockholm. Mimi has over 10 years of teaching experience as a private tutor, teacher, project leader within singing and also holds her own workshops. Besides he singing Mimi has also taught the local dance scene in Copenhagen and Malmö for many years. Her own concept "Sing and Swing" has been a success at Stockamöllan Swing Jazz Festival, amongst others, and has been appreciated by both beginner students and advanced singers.
