Started dancing Lindy Hop in 2012, Ivan soon realized that he was deeply involved into jazz dancing. He started digging into the roots of the dance, trying himself in competitions, showcases and DJing. Later he began sharing his passion with other people by teaching.
Ivan likes watching the old clips, paying attention to every detail and trying to catch the bit and the feeling of great Savoy dancers. His biggest inspiration is Frankie Manning.
Now Ivan combines his dance life with a job of Software developer and never stop learning, trying to understand the essentials of the swing dances deeper. In class he usually creates a relaxed and joyful spirit, paying attention for both rhythmical and communicating aspects of the dance.
