Pre-Camp Practicalities
Do you have a Covid policy?
As of March 2022, no. There have been no restrictions regarding Covid in Sweden since 9 February 2022 and the camp’s intention is to continue to follow any rules and regulations put forth by the Swedish government. Because of this, there is no policy currently in place for the summer to come. If the Swedish government’s stance changes, we will adjust accordingly and will inform you of any changes.
Nevertheless, we have several recommendations about attending the event. The reality is that we are still not completely in ‘post-corona times’, and we trust that each and everyone coming to hang out this summer will understand this and keep the welfare of others as well as their own in mind. The infamous ‘Herräng flu’ of previous years may serve as a good example. Please take the same precautions you would do in order to avoid getting sick: wash and sanitise your hands regularly, cough into your elbow, and stay home if you are sick.
Please remember to read our terms and conditions surrounding refunds for this year if you are unable to travel or in the event that you get sick.

No Week 4 and 5?
Due to many uncertainties which are beyond our control, we have decided to compromise and compress all of our ideas for 2022 into three joyful weeks at full speed. As such, the camp will only run from 9 July to 30 July this year. Please sign up for one of these weeks if you are interested in joining us. Welcome to the village!

Is there an Invitational Lindy Hop track this year?

When do I know about teachers? I want to register for my classes based on which teachers teach during which weeks
We normally post teachers along the way. We are now in the middle of finalising our teacher lineup and most names will be fairly in place soon so please stay tuned. Please also note that teacher lineups are subject to change, just like in previous years.

If I join a Beginner Weekend and want to continue with the BeginnerIntermediate full time programme in the same discipline for the week to come, is that possible?
Yes, if there is space.
Will there be an overlap in classes if I want to do first a Beginner Weekend and then a full week (in a different discipline), or the other way around?
Beginner Weekends and full time courses overlap on Sundays (the last day of beginner weekend classes and first day of full time courses). At this time, it is difficult to predict if the classes themselves will overlap – it is dependent on which disciplines you signed up for and their respective schedules.
If you do a full time course first followed by a Beginner Weekend in a different discipline, there is usually no overlap since the last classes for full time courses are on Friday afternoons while the first classes for Beginner Weekends start on Friday evenings.
About Payments
I will not participate this year, but I do have credit from 2020 - how long does my credit last? Or could I get my money back?
We have extended all credit until September 2023. Please let us know before then if you would like to convert your credit into vouchers for use at future events (valid until the end of August 2025), donate your money, or have your money refunded to you. Please also remember that if you have a larger sum deposited with us, it will be possible to use parts of the sum at one event, keeping the rest for a future event.

Can I use my voucher/discount code to pay for the registration fee?
Your voucher/discount code will always apply to the course fee first and registration fee second. It may be possible that you still have to pay the full registration fee or a part of it, so that your registration is not cancelled.
What if I register and pay but cannot come due to travel restrictions?

At Camp
When will the audition for IntermediateAdvanced-Advanced be?
There will be a peer audition on the Saturday evening of your arrival, followed by a teacher audition the following Sunday morning (though changes may still occur). For more information, please refer to Class Information.
Are there any other colours of t-shirts that I can buy?
The colour is not yet decided upon. Please hang in there and keep an eye out on social media! We will announce when the T-shirt is ready.
