As a recurring event in Herräng, the Tap Jams are usually highly appreciated by both participants and people passing by for a peak. The Tap Jam is a social gathering where the participants communicate to each other with rhythms. Sometimes calmer and sometimes crazier, this event is really created by the people in it and therefor never looks the same from one night to another! Everyone are welcome to bring their shoes and join in!

Slow drag, blues or just slow dancing - the synonyms may be a few but no matter what you want to call it this is the night of Billie Holiday’s crying hymns. It is slow, it is close and it is sensual. The night generally always starts with quiet entrance into the Ballroom, an elaborate show or performance, and a snowball dance to get you started. If you don’t dress up all other nights this is truly the night to put on your gown or suit and get ready for the bluesiest evening of the week. Casual dress is not permitted for these nights.
