Teacher´s Track

In the old days, very few dancers ever took classes to learn how to do the Lindy Hop. The contemporary lindy scene is very different since it is, to a large extent, built on the presence of teachers and classes. This high ambition program links with our contemporary context, and is meant for already established teachers as well as those with little or no experience. The program is meant to provide a variety of angles and approaches on how to pass on the Lindy Hop, but also function as an innovative forum for lindy hoppers with an interest for teaching and the perspective of teaching.

The program is divided into two different levels: one for potential teachers and teachers with limited experience (Newcomers), and one for more experienced instructors (Veterans). No matter in which category that you might belong, we trust that your general swing dance abilites are at least on an intermediate level. The two tracks are open for both couples and individual dancers, and will be based on a mix of solo work and partner work. For those coming to the track without a regular partner, there will be possibilities to either, depending on your preference, work alone or together with a temporary partner from the class.
