Rob started Lindy and Balboa in Santa Barbara in 1984 with Jonathan and Sylvia and then learned from Steven Mitchell starting in 1986 (yes that was hard core Lindy at that time!), the same year he met THE MAN (Frankie).
Teaching since 1989, Rob in 1993 (inspired by Herrang Dance Camp) organized the first International Swing Dance Festival in California with Frankie Manning, Fayard Nicholas, the Rhythm Hot Shots and Ryan Francois. In 1996 Rob and Diane joined forces in more than one way for a great partnership. They shared their passion in their best ways, so you could feel the Freedom! They were instrumental in building the San Francisco Bay Area Swing scene in the late 90's.
Diane, a true natural performer, was privileged to work with the Rhythm Hot
Shots on their American Tour.

They have taught and performed extensively around the world. Rob and Diane are exceptional dancers and instructors, they will truly bring your dancing to the next level. Experience their easy going, fun, fresh, thorough and inspiring approach.
