Bethany Powell grew up in forests and near ocean. She was never "classically trained" but has an affinity for the dances of the proletariat (getting down). She started trying to do lindy hop and keeps trying to do lindy hop simply because it is not at all serious but, if it's swinging, it can be momentous. Bethany is intrigued by the interplay of assertion and concession that makes for good cooperative art. She thinks love is the way and so probably loves - or is at least trying her best to love - you.
