Week 1: Friday 4th July 2008, 9 p.m. Public Enemy Number One
Welcome to the Number One party. This night is a tribute to the gangsters who protected great jazz musicians during the period of time when jazz was a bit more controversial. Roaring Twenties, Mafia is taking over the city and so is Jazz. Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbeck and many more are supported and protected by mobsters and racketeers. Men of honour are in the house tonight so don’t forget to dress up with class and good taste. Welcome and let the joint be jumpin’!

Week 2: Friday 11th July 2008, 9 p.m. Home of Happy Old Feet
Look into grandma and grandpa’s wardrobe to find the outfit for the evening. Take a steady grip of your Zimmer frame or walking stick and let it guide you to the retirement home. Pack your knitting, your magnifying glass and woollen slippers and you’ll be set to enter this evening. Turn up your hearing aid, have memory blackouts and wonder if you come here often. Take the chance to enjoy your well-bred you before the time strikes midnight and you’ll reborn and once again feel the breeze of your innocent youth.

Week 3: Friday 18th July 2008, 9 p.m. New Age Party
See the light and get spiritual. Enter the Age of Aquarius and feel the vibrations from the mysterious immensity, the Universe. Get healed by positive energy, homeopathy and astrology. Body and soul will be eased in a relieving yoga session. Incense sticks, Sanskrit mantras and transcendental meditation. A new dimension to your life, so let the sun be shining within you.

Week 4: Friday 25th July 2008, 9 p.m. The Cuckoo’s Nest Party
Herräng is known to be a bubble outside the real world where all inhibitions are released. This night will present the absurd comedy of life where people turn to insects, saints or Santa Claus. Nothing is impossible, the Marx Brothers are the directors of the evening and you are the actors. Watch out, because as far as we know this Hellzapoppin’ night will never end!
